Has it been almost a week since I last made a post? The days are going so fast, I guess it’s because I don’t wake up with dread each day. Still feel great physically and not at all wanting a drink, I think the hypnotist deserves a medal! I tend to write when things are hard, so remembering to blog when things are good is tricky!! Sorry!! Will try harder ☺️

Good for you! Is this the longest you’ve ever gone? It seems SO long but I swear I was reading just yesterday how you went to a gig and got smashed. I’m back on day… 4? after falling back into old patterns last week. After about two weeks I seem to have complete amnesia about the reasons I tried to quit

Ha your right it feels like yesterday the last time I drank but 79 days seems a lot! I did 100 days a few years ago as then feel pregnant so it ended up been a year but pregnancy doesn’t really count does it! Day four will soon be day 5 and then day 55 before you know. Make a list of the reasons, you can do this!!💪🏻

Keep trying. A sober Christmas is a gift to yourself that you cannot even begin to imagine. Things just seem softer, and easier.

Love your updates. I’m rooting for you in the Midlands. Didn’t realise youd seen a hypnotherapist, was it any good?

That’s awesome.
I remember in the early days I used to really relish Monday’s. They were so much easier than when I would drag myself into work folles with regret, puffy and red eyed. Sunday fun day. Sigh.
I don’t miss that at all. I sometimes think of what it would be like if I was still drinking, working from home…I think bad.
Keep going!
